Roleplay - 28th of September

General padded over to Akila, sitting besides her, He nuzzled his loving daughter.

Abasi popped his head out from the tree trunk that he was laid in, the sun beamed in his face yet again. He hoped it would rain, just there and then, but even he knew that was very likely.

Akila nuzzled her father lovingly, one of the things she and her twin Akina had incommon, was that they both were daddy's girls, but after Akina's tragic death, Akila was the only one.

Starlight sat down watching akila with General and smiled, she also remembered her own father Timmy T, he had left shortly after her mother's death and was out there somewhere, along with him were her teenage sisters Tia, Tina, and Terra. Many old memories began to drift up from deep inside her mind.

General was greatfull to be with such a loveing family, it made him think how lucky he actually was. To not be a loner or a rover on the other hand. He much prefered the comftable family lifesyle.

Abasi knew his dream of early rain wouldent come true, not for a while anyway. He dashed of over to where the rest of his family was. He plodded over to his mother were he snuggled into her side.

ooc: That reminds me, I was writing a story on how I imagine General first met Starlight and joined the Stargazers, actually, I'm kinda making a comic of it.

bic: Starlight nuzzled Abasi sweetly, she loved all of her offspring, and even though Riverdance was causing problems, she still loved her as a daughter.

ooc: Wow sounds pretty cool

Bic: Abasi snuggled into his mother. It was great living life young.

General sat besides his daughter. It made him think about his life as a youngster, yet it wasent as easy back then. The group was large with pups, but small with adults.

ooc: I should also tell you that Sargent and Captain in the Barking Boys were posted to be General's brothers, I hope you don't mind.

bic: Starlight held her son close, she didn't want to let him go, as if letting him go would mean loosing him like she lost Akida, Akina, and Mikeyal.

Akila nuzzled close to her father.

Abasi loved the feeling he got when he was as close as he is now to someon he loved so much. It felt so warm. So fullfilled, like nothing could ever separate the moment.

General stood over his daughter snuggling into her as he did. He watched the sky ever now and then just to make sure nothing could ruin this lovely moment he had.

ooc: This also reminds me of a picture my mom took of me as a baby taking a nap with my dad on the couch. I was so cute, no bragging intended lol.

bic: Riverdance watched the pups getting their attention and smiled, she only hoped her pups would be loved just as much, but because their father had been a rover, odds were they'd never get to meet him.

Sage finally gets the motivation to make an appearance above ground and exits the burrow. She grumbles to herself as the sun's blinding raise hits her eyes but she has no choice but to deal with it. She stands on her hind legs and begins sunning herself. Suddenly she notices the pups snuggling up to their parents which brings a smile to her face.

Riverdance looked to Sage, she seemed to be the only adult female who wasn't in trouble with Starlight.

General still sat besides his daughter. Suddenly he heard a slight chirp and a scurry, He got onto his hind legs and scanned the grassland area that they were surrounded by. He couldent see nothing or hear nothing.

Abasi still sat with his mother, he couldent wait to be a older brother. Just to look of for the young ones would be great to him. Mum, am I going to be a big brother? he chirped to her exuitedly.

Starlight smiled at Abasi, Yes, and I'm sure you'll be just as great a big brother as your brother Rex.

Yay, I love you mum Abasi chirped back and snuggled back into her.

General stood up in the sand, he nuzzled his daughter before wandering over to the burrow. He started t dig the entrance out.

Starlight nuzzled her pup sweetly, I love you too Abasi. She looked up and caught a strange scent. She lookedup and saw some gemsbok passing on a nearby dune.

Akila watched the large animals with awe. She'd never seen anything like it before.

General was digging out the dirt from the burrow entrance, making it wider as he did. He thought about digging it all out but he couldent be bothered today. Maybe Tomorrow he thought to himself.

Abasi looked up to his mothers face, he followed to were here eyes were aimed and he also saw the animals passing by. Mum what are them? Will they hurt us? He asked her curiously.

Starlight smiled again, no, their gentle giants, and they are at a safe distance over there.

Akila bounded over to General barking, Daddy! Daddy! Look at the big animals! She turned and stared at the gemsbok.

Abasi smiled and signed with relief at his mothers words.

General was digging still, suddenly he heard his daughters voice grow as she became close. He looked to were she wanted him to, It was Gemsbok on the dunes. he studied the gemsbok, then went back to his Daughter. There really big arnt they? he told her.

Really really really really big! Akila chirped.

General smiled at his daughters Enthusiasum. He had finished digging out the entrance, It looked more open and cleaner so he left it at that.

Abasi watched the Gemsbok pass over the dunes. Mam, what are you going to call the babies? he asked her curiously

Starlight looked tp Abasi, We won't know what to call them until they are born.

Akila bounded over and asked, how'd you come up with our names?

The meanings, Starlight chirped, Akila means 'wise.'

Akila beamed at the meaning of her name.

She looked to Abasi, and Abasi means 'Stoic, and stern.'

Abasi's face beamed into a smile when he heard what his name was.

ooc: brb going to the shop

ooc: Ok, those were both Swahili names btw, and so are Akida and Akina's.

bic: Starlight smiled, but then she remembered the meanings of the names of their two lost littermates, she felt they should know their meanings as well, and... Akida means chief, and officer, and Akina means bond, family bond, and solidarity. And in some way it also ment spring flower. (Japanese)

Wow mum, you make up really good names. Abasi chirrped smiling

General stood watching the sky, clouds flew past. These past days, it was like the clouds were running away from something, maybe a storm. He sure hoped not.

Starlight chirped, well I didn't make up the names, I've heard them before. She turned towards the burrow, Jackson, Digger and Diara seemed to be taking up some time resting.

Ok mum Abasi told her.

General got up and went over to were the broken down tree was, h smelled around the area and somehow it smlt off something he hadnt come across before. I could have been a new meerkat, a new creature. He doesent know.
He called out for assistance o se if anyone else knew about this scent.
